You've decided to start a home-based travel agency.  You have done your research and know which host agency you want to affliate with...Now, it's time to get the training you need to be a travel professional.  If the host agency requires you to use a GDS system to book travel then the Independent Contractor Program is the right program for you.  It is the Home Based Travel Agent Program PLUS GDS Training.

The Independent Contractor program consists of three sections:

• Basic Travel Industry Instruction
• 30 hours of GDS Computer Training (SABRE, Amadeus, Apollo, Worldspan or Galileo) *
• Step-by-Step Instruction on how to start your own home-based agency

*Note: Career Quest provides basic GDS training covering air reservations, fares & Ticketing, cars and hotels.  Your host agency will require that you take their GDS Proficiency Test even if you have successfully completed our training.  It is their discretion when you are allowed to use their live GDS system.

We combine online study guides and Web sites with some of the most recognized travel reference materials on the market today.

Throughout your training, experienced instructors are available via e-mail or the toll-free number. You will enjoy weekly instructional chat rooms where you can network with fellow students and graduates and meet some of today's preferred suppliers.

Upon successful completion of the program, the student will receive a transcript of his or her grades and will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
