Do you love to travel and enjoy arranging trips for others? Would you like to start a travel career but are not sure whether you want to work for an existing retail travel agency as an employee or be your own boss starting your own home based travel agency? Or maybe you want to start out in a retail agency and then start your home based agency in a year or so? Don't worry - you do not have to decide now just be sure you enroll in the right training program.
The Travel Associate Program combines the Retail Travel Agent Program and the Home-Based Agent Program. It consists of three sections:
- Basic Travel Industry Instruction
- Over 40 hours of Airline Computer Training
(Sabre, Apollo, WorldSpan, Amadeus or Galileo)
- Step-by-Step instruction on how to start your own home-based travel agency
We combine online study guides and Web sites with some of the most recognized travel reference materials on the market today.
Throughout your training, experienced instructors are available via e-mail or the toll-free number. You will enjoy weekly instructional chat rooms where you can network with fellow students and graduates and meet some of today's preferred suppliers.
Upon successful completion of the program, the student will receive a transcript of his or her grades and will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
