Career Quest Training Center's proven distance learning format provides you with the knowledge and hands-on skills you will need to be successful in the travel industry. Our distance education programs help you launch your new career in this exciting and growing field. Career Quest's only focus is travel industry education.  Your tuition includes all materials, shipping, educational support and your online study guide. Career Quest offers new agent training for individuals just entering the travel industry and continuing education programs those with prior experience. New Agent Programs

• Home-based Agent Training for Travel Industry  (Total Tuition $595.00) - View Payment Plans
  Do you enjoy planning vacations for your family and friends? Would you like to be your own boss and have a flexible schedule? If you have decided a home based travel agency is the right career for you, the Home Based-Travel Agent Program is for you.  Upon completion of our training, you will affiliate with a host agency which is your link to the industry and travel suppliers.  Using the host's booking engine, you will have access to their pricing and can book directly on it.  The Home-Based Agent Program consists of two sections:
  
  • Basic Travel Industry Instruction
  • Step-by-step Instruction on how to start your own home-based agency
• Independent Contractor & GDS Program (Total Tuition $795.00) - View Payment Plans
  You've decided a home based travel business is for you and have already chosen a host agency  The host agency requires you to complete a basic travel training program and be acquainted with a GDS System.  The Independent Contractor program consists of three sections:
  
  • Basic Travel Industry Instruction
  • 30 hours of GDS Computer Training (SABRE, Amadeus, Apollo, Worldspan or Galileo)
  • Step-by-Step Instruction on how to start your own home-based agency
• Note:  We provide students with the basic knowledge of operating a GDS system.  Your host agenciy will require that you take their GDS Proficiency test and complete a GDS orientation program before allowing you to go live on their system.   
• Travel Associate Program   (Total Tuition $1095.00) - View Payment Plans
  Do you love to travel and enjoy arranging trips for others? Would you like to start a travel career but are not sure whether you want to work for an existing retail travel agency or start your own agency at home?  The Travel Associate program consists of four sections:
  • Basic Travel Industry Instruction
  • Retail Travel Agency Operations
  • Over 40 hours of Airline Computer Training (Sabre, Apollo, WorldSpan, Amadeus or Galileo)
  • Step-by-Step instruction on how to start your own home-based travel agency
• Cruise Consultant Program   (Total Tuition $595.00) - View Payment Plans
  Do you want to start your own travel business from home and specialize only in cruises? The Cruise Consultant Program consists of two sections:
  
  • Basic Cruise Industry Instruction
  • Step-by-step Instruction on how to start your own home-based cruise agency
• Retail Travel Agent Program   (Total Tuition $895.00) - View Payment Plans
  Do you want a travel career working as an employee in a full service retail travel agency? The Retail Travel Agent program consists of three sections:
  
  • Basic Travel Industry Instruction
  • Retail Travel Agency Operations
  • Over 40 hours of GDS Computer Training (Sabre, Apollo, WorldSpan, Amadeus or Galileo)

Continuing Education Programs and Courses

• GDS Training for an Experienced Agent  (40 Hours)
  The curriculum includes: Introduction to the System, Airline Reservations, Basic Fares and Ticketing, Car Reservations and Hotel Reservations. Students will receive a format reference sheet for the system they have selected. Prior travel industry experience is required. 
• GDS Brush-up/Conversion Training for an Experienced Agent  (20 Hours)
  Curriculum provides an overview of Airline Reservations, Automated Fares and TIcketing, Car Reservations and Hotel Reservations in the GDS system you select. Your will receive a format reference sheet for the system you have selected.  Prior travel industry experience is required.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
You will receive a refund of all monies paid if you are not accepted as a student. You may cancel within three (3) working days of receiving and reviewing the materials by notifying Career Quest by e-mail or telephone. If the materials are returned in "unused" condition, the student will receive a refund of their monies paid minus the $25.00 shipping and handling fee. If the materials have been used or written in, the student will be charged the actual cost of the materials plus the $25.00 shipping and handling fee. Any monies then remaining would be refunded within 5-7 business days of receiving the materials in our office.  All refunds are in the form of a check - no credit card refunds.
